| NEW - UNION PACIFIC/ SOUTHERN PACIFIC 50' SINGLE SHEATHED WOOD BOXCAR This is a Harriman family 50' boxcar, class A-40-1. The UP had 400 of them and the SP also had 400 of these unique cars. Note the side protrusions, which allowed the cargo in side to be double decked., whether it be automobiles or other merchandise. The end doors allowed long items to be loaded, such as large vehicles, roof trusses, etc. These cars had a long life lasting into the 1950's. This car has never been offered in O scale in any form, be it brass, plastic or urethane. $140.00.

Model hhas end doors for loading long bulky items, like roof trusses, machinery, fire engines and other products.
